Happy Thanks Giving!

Hey everyone!Sorry for not posting for some time, a few changes have occured already tho...I,now live in  Texas with my mom dad and sisters...Going to a new school,boy it is BIG,I mean BIG..And am starting to make friends and etc..This would be my first Thanksgiving here,awesome!!Turkey's done,pieas are made,and all we're waiting for is 6:00 DINNER!!Yeah!!

First Eclipse...A small one tho..

Good Midnight?!:)I am staying up late just to post this for ya'll!!I was watching Charlie's Angels (2000)  and Aunt called with this really exciting voice saying "Have you seen it yet?" Me: "The what?" her: "The Eclipse"...I was so eager to see it I forgot to say bye to aunt and ran up to my camera,rushed outside and saw NOTHING!!!!The night sky was empty,plus a bird pooped on me (But it missed :)..Thankfully Aunt got some pics of it and here's one I stole from her...:P

Halelujiah!!!!Praise the Lord!!!!

Hey everyone!Very good news everywhere,I just want to shout on top of the mountain "Praise the Lord, Bow before the Lord!!!!' It is never too late :)....Mom passed her exam,got her license,and all we're waiting for,O lord is our visa....Lord thank you so very much for listening to our prayers and thank you to those who prayed for us too!!!Now I understand from what people say that there are 3 answers to a prayer: Yes,No, and Wait.....I just found this song and am going to play it for a while!!!!

Persephone's Cowl

Materials:
Worsted Weight Yarn (Color A & Color B)
Size G crochet hook
Tapestry Needle
Abbreviations:
HDC CL-Yo draw up a loop,Yo and draw through 2 loops,3 times and YO draw through
all 4 loops on hook.
Hdc- Half Double Crochet
Sp-Space
Ea-Each
                                                   Pattern
With Color B
Ch 82,Row 1: Hdc Cl in 2nd ch from hook,ch2,skip 2 ch,cluster in nxt ch.Repeat until end of row. - 27 Clusters
Change to Color A
Row 2: Ch2 Turn,I hdc in nxt cluster,2 hdc in ch2 sp.Repeat until end-80 Hdcs
Row 3-6:Ch2 Turn, 1 hdc in ea st across-80 Hdcs
Row 7-22:Repeat Row 1,3, and 3. Finish Off Leaving a long tail for sewing.
Weave in ends (except for the Long tail)
Fold piece in half and using the long tail sew together cowl and snip off rem end.
Turn Inside out and Voila!

Hoot-Hoot ~Owl Drawstring Pouch

Materials                                                                                      Abbreviations
Size H hook                                                               RHDC- Ribbing Half Double Crochet
Tapestry Needle                                                       work a HDC in back loops only
Main Color Yarn                                                         CH-Chain
                                                                                    Rem-RemainingScrap Black & White&Orange Yarn                          Cluster-Yarn Over draw up a loop,Yarn over draw through 2 loops 3 times and you will have 4 loops on hook,yarn over and draw through all loops.
            Body
Ch 22
Row 1:Work a Hdc in 3rd ch from hook until end -20 sts
Row 2:Turn,Ch2, Work a RHDC in 1st st until end Slip st in ch 2 spaces -20 sts
Row 3-16: Repeat Row 2 -20 sts
Finish Off leaving a long tail for sewing
Body Assembly:Fold your piece in half and sew together your sts to the bottom part of your work.
You should have something like this:

Pick one end of your rectangle and sew it close forming the bottom of the pouch,snip your yarn off.
Pouch Rim
Make a slip knot and join on upper part of pouch with a sl st (The part that is open and not sewed.)
Row 1:Ch 2 Do a cluster in the same st,ch2 skip 1 st,and do another cluster in next st. *around*  -8 Clusters
Finish off,Weave in all ends.
In case, you don't understand you will be working like this

Eyes (make 2)
With Black, Ch2
Round 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (Insert a stitch marker)
Round 2: Changing back to white,2 sc in each sc *around* -12 sc
Round 3: 2 sc in each st *around* -24 sc
Finish Off,leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew eyes in place desired.

Beak
With Orange, Ch 7
Row 1: Work a sc in 2nd ch from hook until end -6 sts
Row 2:Turn,Ch1,sc2tog in first 2 sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc,sc2tog in last 2 sts -4 sts
Row 3: Sc in all sts -4 sts
Row 4: Turn,Ch1, Sc2tog in first 2 sc and in last 2 sc - 2 sts
Row 5: Turn,Ch1, Sc2tog the remaining 2 sts -1 st
Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing,Sew Beak into pouch in desired place.

Drawstring
Ch 50.Finish off weave in ends.
Attach  the drawstring to the pouch by threading it through a tapestry needle  and inserting the needle between all clusters.

There you have it!Enjoy your Owl Pouch.

Hello everyone!!!!I'm back,back to business.Recently I have been receiving just really amazing packages from the mail from the swaps that I have been in.....
YUCK!!!!While I was typing this I saw a small ugly bug creeping through the computer.....So,I had to dust off the computer and clean it from dust and what knot...Okay,so back to the subject,I am going to be releasing a design that I am hoping will be better than any of my recent designs....It is a free pattern of Fingerless Gloves...
On the other hand,we have 2 weeks left of school,the most impatient part of the year....Exams,plays,and even have an International Day  for Gr. 5 :(

Hello blog!What's up?!I have been through so many changes and adjustments and etc and etc....
[The following will be individual stories that happened to me]
"Dog Bite!!!!"
One  day house dog that doesn't like me got loose..Unc, chased him safely,stupid dog pulled Unc towards me and then almost bit me....I was so shocked,then after,he just slobbered mucus on me....I was so angry I farted JK
"Vroom,Boink!!!"
I just noticed I have exclamation marks all over,anyways......We were driving one day,going to church for my confirmation,until Boom,some sort of farming vehicle hit us (accidentally) on the back...Human nature made us ofcourse, come down and  check the damage (it was just minor) and made the person who hit us pay for the repair....Car is now almost finished....
"Tribal War!!!!!!!"
  Then last,definitely not the least,the biggest event, TRIBAL WAR!!!!A man was shot in the nearest cathedral from us,it was tribal war,as most people say,dad says to take much caution because some tribal wars include going around and shooting random people that hopefully won't be me....

I'm left out:(Completely,my sisters' got to go the party I was hoping to go to since I was in KSA and missed it....Stupid surgery,but hey,I got some time to blog with YOU!I am humming like crazy,distracting myself from the excitement about the yarn,but am trying to resist because  I have learned so much on the "Don't Expect Rule" that was self taught by me.....But really,I will pray about the lady tonight....
                              Ilocos Norte has been very paranoid about Tsunami's lately.... Since Japan\s disaster....I have this really awkward feeling when I think about it,let  me tel you: We went to Pagudpud Blue Lagoon on that day the Tsunami  striked ,the water in the beach was really wild (but far from a tsunami)  we were just able to wade by the shore,even my uncs who were extremely good in  diving and swimming weren't able to go off far....We went home after being wet a bit and we knew nothing about the disaster in Japan until we turned on the TV...Then we all looked like "ahhhhh...that's why"

I am ALIVE!!!

Has anyone missed me?!There was a lot of adventure from Ksa to here,PH.We haven't even left Al Hada,there was already suspense,the woman who we are riding with in the bus lost her ear ring,and you know where she found it?!On Chris' lap,he was quite quiet about it even though he knew (He's 6)once we found out,we were all LOLing so loud we had to quiet down because a Muttawa is just next to the bus.....Then airport,then to Manila by my Aunts',then to Ilocos Norte.We just stayed there for a bit,but I was really about to subside without Rav and Blogger.....Someone read in the Yarn Storm Group,that I needed yarn and PMed me,I was really shocked because it was the first time someone offered me after a long time....Unfortunately, K.O.W. she sent it  at the time when I haven't internet access and from Ravelry,I saw her last post was from 2 days ago and am being such a K.O.W. guy that she might not go online again or maybe wouldn't be interested in sending me,K.O.W.!Please,if you are reading this, email me via Rav that you got my PMs  from Rav.This is such a great opportunity....
Anyways,I am here by our porch swatting every mosquito flying by,hoping that they don't come every second....Wi Fi here is quite strrong,me iz impressed..

Day 3- Alpaca Later

Good evening,or is it afternoon?!Well who cares....I recently got two brown cakes from Miss Jana,thank you if you are reading this....I finally decided what to do on the plane: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/free-digits ....Again, I am homealone with my sisters... The rest of the 3 days I have left,will be helping,packing stuff,and ofcourse,for myself....But I bet I could just bring my gadgets,widgets,and crochet...well ofcourse my other "Need" items will be brought,but only a few of "Want"....I hope,wish,and pray my swap package is here sooner!!!:(But since someone mentioned from Canada to the Aramex address of Miss Hunter (in NY) will take one week,meaning it will arrive there on the 8th,our flight :(

Hello bloggers! How are you all doing?!Me?!Oh, I'm glad you asked, I skipped yesterdays' vlog because I guess I didn't have time...I'm home alone tonight, the rest of the crew's out shopping,I dropped out because I guess staying here is better than just being a zombie vagabond of the Mall....I am sooooooooo curious if there's going to be RAK package tomorrow and hopefully tomorrow because time is running out!!!!! People from the "Hand Warmer Stitchmarker" Swap have been receiving their packages and I haven't :(Why do I need to be so far from the US,why?!??!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 6- Weekend,ahhhhhh!!!

A little bit of homework, a little bit of crochet,and a little bit of TV and blogging makes everything feel better.....Haha,weekend.......All I do is Homework,Play,and etc etc...I hope weekend will be as fast I think it's going to be..I'm working on an applique for a bracelet, for zoey and finally borrowed a size E crochet hook from Ola.....

Day 10- As I Promised......

Yellow!Here I am as I promised to try post here everyday.
A wonderful lady from Ravelry said that her "Rak" for me has been sent.She said that it should be here less than a week because when she sends stuff to the US, it takes about 1 week.I'll have to be tagging along Mom's back and ask her repeatedly if there was any notice about a package arriving.I do hope it arrives before I go or I'll have restless nights at Ph.
I was today hoping that I could hold my hooks and yarn and make the hat that I am testing for Ravelry,but I HAVE to get the pattern printed,I find it hard staying in Google Docs reading reading reading.....
